Yvonne Baginski, our founder, began collecting used wheelchairs and medical supplies to send to developing countries but soon realized these items were needed locally and offered her front porch to the community as a drop off/pick up site. In 2014, she created an additional program addressing health care gaps for older adults, allowing them to live independently and safely at home. 

Along with a dedicated team of volunteers, she provided case management services for individuals who may have otherwise fallen through the cracks. After serving hundreds of older and disabled adults and substantial growth, she combined all the services and established a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Share the Care Napa Valley, in 2017.

In 2021, we found an official office to operate from at 162 S Combs St. Today, we focus on offering medical equipment and supplies for community members to donate and receive items, working with visitors on fall prevention, and serving those facing hoarding disorder and eviction. We are here for you when you need us.
